                                                                 Getting to know me.
           I can't remember what we were looking at but I do remember why I'm writing this post. My name is Wande Adeyemo. Well, wande for short. People call me "baby Durant" cause I'm obsessed with Kevin Durant or "wawa" or "puppy" like my sister calls me because she thinks all I do is follow her around -_- I'm 17 years old and I graduated from Piscataway High School. I was so relieved when they called my name to walk across the stage... I was finally out of school and on my way to a different one. Irony. I play basketball, I used to play soccer but that didn't work out well for me and my sister. I've been playing basketball since like the 2nd grade. We had little teams back then and me and my sister were always eager to be apart of the basketball team. Ever since then, we join teams, we joined a travel team and now we're here to be apart of the women's basketball.

What am I passionate about? It would have to be basketball and achieving my dreams to become a criminal profiler. Growing up, my mom and my older sister would always tell me that I'm always watching "criminal" shows or investigation shows and I really grew to love them all. In my free time, me and my sister listen to club music inside of our dorms and have a two people party. When I have a lot of free time, I usually sleep or eat or think of food. I'm usually always eating 24/7. I like cheeseburgers, fries, chicken tenders, pizza, turkey and cheese sandwiches, radishes, broccoli and cauliflower. LOL

While I'm writing at a computer, I let the words flow as i type. If there's no certain way that I have to go by, I can type forever. if not, I always tend to plan and think out loud and write down my thoughts. But something like this, I'm sitting down on my computer and I'm writing down all the words that are coming through my head. Chicken

I listen to club music 24/7 or I listen to draking, emotional, sad, tearing music. There's not really an in between. My favorite artists would have to be Drake and J.Cole. Otherwise, all my other favorite artists are dj's that make jersey club music. All of my friends know that all I listen to is club music cause im always posting the new song that I find on sound-cloud. Speaking of soundcloud, I mainly use snapchat, twitter, Instagram, YouTube, sound cloud, posh-mark, eBay, pinterest and tumblr. I use the apps like 2958249 times a day and I never get tired. boom

My writing experience in high school was bad for me. I found during my sophomore year or so that I wasn't as a good writer as I thought i was. Our teachers didn't really care for reading our essays, they just wanted it done. Some teachers cared and others just did the minimal. I didn't have to write a lot of drafts in high school and I found myself just writing papers. I learned certain grammar rules like the use of commas and mla format and structure. I did learn about the five paragraph structure and learned that it might not apply in college. in general, the most important thing for me to learn is how to become closer to my degree. For English, I hope to become a better writer in all ways. I would rate myself a C as a writer. Why? I know the basics but I know I'm not at the level as my other peers. Sometimes when I peer revise for my friends, I realize how far back I am. I should've taken my English classes a little more seriously.
